MAH MHMCT Counselling 2026 registration starts at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in; merit list on August 3

The MAH MHMCT provisional merit list will be out on July 28 on the official website. Applicants can submit the grievances from July 29 to 31, 2026
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has started the counselling registration process for the master in hotel management and catering technology (MHMCT) 2026-2027. Candidates can apply till July 24, 2026 upto 5 pm on the official website of MAHA CET at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in.
Candidates can upload the documents and verify it from July 11 to 25, 2026. The authority will release the MAH MHMCT provisional merit list on July 28, while the final merit list on August 3. Applicants can submit the grievances from July 29 to 31, 2026. The seats will be allotted on the basis of applicants' rank and the college choice given by them.
MAH MHMCT Counselling 2026: Steps to apply
To register for the MAH MHMCT counselling, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of MAHA CET at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in
- On the homepage, click on the "new candidate registration" tab and fill out the basic details, including name, email, and mobile number
- Log in using the generated application ID and password to fill out the CAP application form
- Upload the required documents, make the payment and then submit
- Choice the preferred colleges and courses
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference

MAH MHMCT 2026 Counselling: Documents required
The documents required for the MAH MHMCT counselling are as follows:
- SSC (Class 10) mark sheet
- HSC (10+2)/Diploma/UG mark sheet
- Category support documents
- Documents in the support of candidature type
- Certificate of the Indian nationality of the candidate
- School leaving certificate, if required to substantiate the claim
MAH MHMCT Counselling 2026: Eligibility
As per the official notice, the eligibility for the applicants seeking admission to the first-year M.HMCT programme are as follows:
- Aspirants must be Indian citizens
- Finish a four-year Bachelor's degree in HMCT, or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks

- Candidates from the reserved categories, EWS and PwD need a minimum of 45% marks
- Applicants must obtain a non-zero score in the MAH-M.HMCT-CET 2026
Sponsored candidates should have at least two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm, company, industry, educational or research institution, government department, or autonomous organisation in the relevant field.
