The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has extended the registration period for admission to MBBS/BDS (Group A) courses 2026-27. As per the notice, the extension follows the extension granted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota counselling.

The State CET Cell said it has accordingly revised the schedule for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
The notice also states that, “NRI candidates should register on Foreign Candidate Registration Portal before 14/08/2026, upto 11.59 pm for verification of candidate's eligibility. The subsequent schedule will be the same as above. Refer notice no. 04 for eligibility and process of registration for NRI.”
The revised schedule for the admission process for the MBBS/BDS (Group A) health science courses are as follows:

Online choice/preference filling process (group A) | August 22 to 24, 2026, up to 5:30 pm |
Declaration of CAP round 1 (group A) | August 25, 2026 |
Physical joining to allotted college with original documents and fees | August 26 to 30, 2026, up to 5:30 pm |
As per the notice, the payment by cheque is allowed on bank holidays and can be replaced by a demand draft on the next working day. If an applicant fails to submit the DD on the next working day, the admission may be cancelled.
