Suspects in Maharashtra TET 2026 paper leak detained: Education minister Dadaji Bhuse

Maharashtra TET 2026: The MSCE has postponed the teacher eligibility test, which was supposed to be held on June 28, due to paper leak allegations.
After the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 was postponed due to paper leak allegations, Dadaji Bhuse, school education minister said that the government has taken “serious note” of the TET paper leak case and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
The Maharashtra TET 2026 , which was supposed to be held on June 28 at 1,028 centres across the state, has been postponed due to the paper leak case.
“The police administration had received confidential information that some suspects were in possession of the TET exam question paper in Bhiwandi. Based on this information, the Bhiwandi police raided and detained the suspects concerned,” Bhuse said.
According to the education minister, the question paper seized by the police was verified by the officials of the Maharashtra State Examination Council .

Maharashtra TET 2026 Paper Leak: Action taken by Bhiwandi police
It has been found that some of the questions in the seized question paper are similar to the questions in the actual exam question paper to be held tomorrow. Taking cognizance of this serious matter, a case has been registered at the Bhiwandi police station, the minister added.
The minister further said that the chief minister and the deputy CM have taken serious note of this entire matter.
The police administration has been ordered to conduct a thorough investigation and action will be taken against those found guilty in this investigation, he said.
Bhuse assured that strict action will be taken without any hesitation. “The government machinery is ready to conduct the examination with complete transparency, and the police administration is conducting a thorough investigation to take strict action against the culprits, Shri,” he added.
