MHT CET Result 2026 (OUT) LIVE: PCM 1st attempt scorecard at cetcell.mahacet.org; 26 scores 100 percentile

The MHT CET PCM examination was conducted from April 11 to April 20, 2026, across 16 sessions in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

Out of 4,79,332 registered candidates, a total of 4,54,069 appeared for the first-session PCM examination. The overall attendance stood at 94.73%.

According to the MHT CET PCM toppers, of the 26 candidates who secured 100 percentile, 22 are male students, and four are female students.

A total of 26 students scored 100 percentile in the first-session MHT CET PCM 2026 exam. Among them, 24 are from Maharashtra and two are from other states.

MHT CET 2026 PCM counselling and Centralized Admission Process (CAP) registration are expected to start in late June 2026. The State CET Cell announced the PCM results on June 15, 2026.

A rank of 40,000 in MHT CET is considered average and usually means a percentile above 70 or about 90 to 100 marks. It may not get admission in top colleges like COEP or VJTI, but it can still help you get a seat in good private engineering colleges for core branches.

If a student scores 50 marks in MHT CET, they can expect around 60 to 75 percentile. The exact percentile may change based on the exam shift, difficulty level, and whether it is PCM or PCB group.

The MHT CET cutoff for Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering (DJSCE), Mumbai usually ranges from 90 to 99.5 percentile for the General Open category. Popular branches such as Computer Engineering, AI, and related courses generally close at 97 to 99 percentile or higher.

To get admission to the BTech programme at SPIT Mumbai through MHT CET, candidates in the General Open category usually need a percentile above 98. For popular branches like Computer Engineering, the cutoff is much higher and often reaches 99.7 to 99.8+ percentile.

A 97 percentile in MHT CET usually corresponds to around 120 to 135+ marks out of 200, depending on the difficulty level of the exam shift. Candidates with a 97 percentile can generally expect an All India Rank (AIR) between 6,000 and 10,500.

The MHT CET 2026 PCB first attempt result was declared on June 8, 2026. Candidates can check and download their scorecard by logging in with their credentials on cetcell.mahacet.org.

At Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT), Pune, the MHT CET cutoff for popular branches such as Computer Engineering and Information Technology is usually between 97 and 99+ percentile for the General (Open) category. For core branches like Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, the cutoff generally ranges from 92 to 96 percentile.

Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) is one of the most sought-after colleges, with admission cutoffs for the General Open category usually ranging from 99.00 to 99.70 percentile in MHT CET. For Computer Engineering, the cutoff is generally above 99.50 percentile, while Electronics and Telecommunication (E&TC) typically closes at around 99.00 percentile or higher.

The MHT CET 2026 results for the second attempt (Session 2) of both PCM and PCB groups are expected to be announced by the end of June 2026. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will release the scorecards and final merit list on cetcell.mahacet.org.
