NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit card for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024. Candidates who filled out the application form can check and download the NCET 2024 admit card through the official website, ncet.samarth.ac.in.

Candidates should use their login credentials such as the application number and date of birth to download the NCET 2024 admit card. “This admit card is issued online provisionally to the Candidates, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions. Issuance of this admit card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of the fulfilment of eligibility of the candidate, which shall be further scrutinised at subsequent stages of the recruitment process,” the NTA said.

The NTA will conduct the NCET 2024 exam on June 12. Depending on the number of candidates and their subject choices, the exam will be held over multiple days in two shifts. The NCET 2024 will be conducted in various languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The NCET 2024 exam is conducted for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at participating central and state universities, as well as other institutions, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), for the academic session 2024-25.

NCET 2024: Exam pattern

The NCET 2024 exam consists of four sections. Section 1 offers candidates a choice among 38 different languages, with the requirement to select any two, designated as Language 1 and Language 2. Section 2 covers Domain Specific Subjects, Section 3 encompasses the General Test, and Section 4 focuses on Teaching Aptitude.

In total, there will be 160 questions to be attempted out of 181 questions. Candidates can check the section-wise number of questions form the table given below.
