NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 answer key is expected to be issued soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET official answer key PDF on the official NTA NEET website – neet.nta.nic.in. Along with NEET answer key 2023, NTA will also release NEET UG 2023 response sheet. NEET UG 2023 was conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc nursing, and AYUSH programmes on May 7.

NTA will initially publish a provisional NEET 2023 answer key. Candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2023 will be able to challenge the provisional answer key, in case of any doubts. Students will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question in order to challenge the NTA NEET answer key.
NTA will verify the objections raised by the candidates with the help of a panel of subject experts and release a revised final NEET 2023 answer key on the basis of the challenges.
NEET UG 2023 results will be prepared on the basis of the NEET 2023 final answer key. “No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalised after the challenges will be treated as final,” said NTA in the NEET 2023 information bulletin.
Various coaching institutes have already released the unofficial answer key of NEET 2023. This year, the aspirants found the NEET 2023 question paper as “moderate to tough”.

The Madhya Pradesh has made amendments in the Medical Education Admission Rules-2018. As per the new new reservation rules, 5% seats in government and private colleges for MBBS, BDS courses will be reserved for government school students.

No, the NTA has not released the NEET UG 2023 answer key. Once released, the candidates will be able to check the answer on the NEET official website- neet.nta.nic.in.
AIIMS Delhi has the highest NEET UG cut-off last year at 61 while Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences Rohtak, had the lowest cut-off at 7932.

According to the draft Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023, the National Medical Commission (NMC) may conduct NEET UG exam or designate multiple agencies to conduct the exam. The Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) will decide the language, manner and modalities of conducting the NEET UG exam.

"In order to be eligible for admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses for a particular academic year in case of General, General-EWS, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at the 50th percentile in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test to Undergraduate Medical Courses held for the said academic year," reads NTA NEET 2023 information bulletin.
Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates will require 40th percentile whereas candidates with benchmark disabilities will need 45th percentile for unreserved category and GEN-EWS Category candidates and 40th percentile for SC, ST, OBC-NCL candidates.
While Nagaland has got the approval to set up its first medical college with 100 MBBS seats starting from the academic session 2023-24, NMC approved new government medical college in Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has urged the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct NEET UG exam twice a year. The child rights body received an application regarding this from Navneet Singh, a member of All India Students Union (AISU).
