Meanwhile, NTA has released the provisional NEET answer key 2023 for exam held on June 6 for Manipur candidates. NEET UG 2023 marks can be calculated using the provisional answer key and the response sheet. “We have just finished Manipur so it will take some time. The result has to be declared together [for all students]. You can expect the result next week or the week after,” NTA official Sadhna Parashar confirmed Careers360 on Saturday, June 11.
Candidates will have to key in their NEET UG application number, password and security pin to download the NEET scorecard 2023. After the NTA announces the NEET result for UG medical admission, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be publishing the MCC AIQ NEET counselling schedule for further selection process.

As per reports, NEET UG result will be declared tomorrow, June 13.
The tie among candidates will be solved by following this
1. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany and Zoology) in the test, followed by,
2. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry in the Test, followed by,
3. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Physics in the Test, followed by,
4. Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test,
5. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany and Zoology) in the Test, followed by
6. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test, followed by
7. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test
The NEET UG 2023 cut-off will be announced along with the declaration of results. In case of General and General-EWS categories, candidates must obtain a minimum marks of the 50th percentile.
Last year, the NEET UG answer key was issued on August 31 and NEET UG result was declared on September 7. NEET last year was conducted on July 17.

With the release of NEET answer keys, students now await NEET UG result 2023. As per reports, NEET UG 2023 result is expected to be out on June 14 or June 15.
In order to get admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical and Surgery (BAMS) course, students must have appeared for NEET UG exam and secured a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in physics, chemistry and biology in Class 12. The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will conduct the BAMS counselling 2023 for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

Union education minister Mansukh Mandaviya informed in a tweet that the number of medical colleges in the country has increased from 387 in 2014 to 683 in 2023. MBBS seats have also increased from 51,348 to over 1 lakh in this year.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG answer key 2023 for 8,753 Manipur candidates at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates are allowed to challenge the answer key by today, June 12 till 4 pm.
Once the National Testing Agency (NTA) declares the NEET UG medical admission result, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the counselling schedule for the All India Quota (AIQ) NEET counselling. This schedule will outline the subsequent selection process for candidates.
This year, over 20 lakh medical students appeared in the NEET UG 2023 exam on May 7 and the re-exam was held on June 6.
The NMC's Graduate Medical Education Regulations 2023, or GMER-23, notified on June 2, say that a candidate will not be allowed to appear in the NEET UG unless he or she has completed the 17 years of age as on or before January 31 of the year of the admission to UG medical courses. Read More

If none of the options is found correct in the NEET question paper pdf or a NEET UG 2023 question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.
Confirming that the NEET UG 2023 result will not be declared today, an NTA official said: "We have just finished Manipur so it will take some time. The NEET result has to be declared together [for all students]. You can expect the result next week or the week after.”
As many as 50 new medical colleges have been approved this year, adding 8,195 more undergraduate seats and taking the total number of such seats in the country over one lakh.

After the NEET 2023 UG result announcement, NTA will also announce the NEET merit lists to hold the admission process for 85 percent medical and dental seats. Candidates will be able to register for NEET UG counselling for the 15 percent all India quota (AIQ) seats and 85 percent state-quota seats.
According to new regulations by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the medical education regulatory body will now only make the annual assessment results and ratings of medical colleges available on the NMC official website and not reports.

Candidates will mandatorily have to retain a copy of the confirmation page, admit card, and NEET UG score card and keep it downloaded before September 30.

Now, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates are eligible for MBBS admissions to all seats, as per the revised eligibility criteria announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Earlier, they were allowed admissions only against a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seat or a supernumerary seat.

The NEET UG closing rank for admission to BDS programme at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi was 7,469 last year. There are a total of 26,949 BDS seats in 313 medical colleges and the counselling will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will be conducting the NEET UG 2023 counselling for admissions to medical colleges in Delhi on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The NEET closing rank at Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital was 5,044 for general category.

If a candidate indulged in unfair means or cheating during NEET UG 2023 exam, he or she will be debarred for three years and will be liable for criminal action, as per the rules of NTA provided in the information bulletin.
The highest NEET cut off at which a medical college closed admissions to Bachelor of Homeopathic and Surgery was 49,432 at Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, New Delhi. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee conducts the counselling for admissions to BHMS programme.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has revised the age limit for NEET aspirants. According to the new age criteria, NEET UG aspirants should be 17-year-old on or before January 31 of the year of admissions whereas earlier December 31 was considered. The commission announced the new criteria in the 'Graduate Medical Education Regulations 2023'.

NMC will only provide the assessment results and ratings of medical colleges and not full-fledged reports on its official website to facilitate the public, according to its new regulations. This means that students and others concerned will only be able to check the latest status of medical colleges -- recognised, derecognised, or recognition on hold -- and not how colleges performed in the past. While the report could help students make informed decision on taking MBBS admissions, latest assessment results could land them in court.

A total of 20,87,449 students appeared for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 this year, according to the official data shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the official website -- neet.nta.nic.in. This number excludes Manipur candidates who appeared for the re-exam held on June 6 due to law and order situation in the state during the exam held on May 7.
