Try NowThe National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to conduct the NEET MDS 2026 examination on May 2 for admission to Master of Dental Surgery(MDS) courses across the country. The postgraduate dental entrance exam will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
NBEMS has advised candidates appearing for the exam to report well in advance, as entry gates at all designated centres will close at 1:30 pm. No candidate will be allowed to enter the venue after the stipulated closing time.
Candidates appearing for NEET MDS 2026 must ensure that they carry all mandatory documents to the examination centre for identity verification and entry clearance.

The mandatory documents required at the NEET MDS 2026 examination centre are:
- NEET MDS 2026 admit card
- Valid government-issued photo ID proof
- Recent passport-size photograph
Failure to produce any of these required documents may lead to difficulty during verification at the test venue.
NEET MDS 2026: Dress Code
Candidates are advised to follow the below dress code to avoid inconvenience during frisking at the NEET MDS 2026 exam centre;
- Wear light-coloured, plain, and comfortable clothes on exam day.
- Only half-sleeved shirts, T-shirts, tops, or kurtis are recommended; full sleeves are generally not allowed.
- Avoid outfits with large buttons, heavy embroidery, sequins, frills, or hidden pockets.
- Male candidates should prefer simple half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts with plain trousers/cotton pants.
- Female candidates should wear basic half-sleeve tops, salwar suits, or simple kurtis and avoid jewellery or fancy hair accessories.
NEET MDS 2026: Guidelines
Candidates should strictly adhere to the below NEET MDS 2026 exam-day instructions to ensure a smooth and trouble-free examination process;
- Arrive at the allotted examination venue well before the reporting time for verification formalities.
- Carefully comply with all directions issued by the invigilation staff inside the centre.
- Maintain proper conduct throughout the examination and refrain from any malpractice.
- Attempt the test only on the computer terminal assigned by the authorities.
- Remain inside the examination hall until the test concludes unless permission is granted by officials.
