NEET SS 2025 day 1 exam today; guidelines, things not to carry

NBEMS will conduct the NEET SS 2025 exam on December 26 and 27 in two shifts: morning from 9 am to 11:30 am and afternoon from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Super Specialty (NEET-SS 2025) day 1 exam today in two shifts. Candidates are advised to bring only their ID card and admit card to the NEET SS 2025 test centres for verification purposes.
NEET SS exam 2025 will be held in two shifts, morning from 9 am to 11:30 am and afternoon from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. NBEMS will conduct the NEET SS 2025 day 2 exam tomorrow, December 27.
The exam authorities will conduct an identity check upon arrival at the test centre to ensure that no unauthorised candidates are appearing for the exam. There will be no arrangements at the NEET SS 2025 exam centres for keeping any articles and items belonging to the candidates.
However, if any candidate is found with any of the barred items inside the centre beyond the security checkpoint, it will be considered as the use of unfair means, and action will be taken accordingly.
NEET SS 2025: Things to carry
As per the NEWT SS exam day guidelines, candidates are advised to carry the items listed below for verification purposes.
- Printed copy of barcoded and QR-coded admit card .
- Photocopy of Permanent SMC/MCI/NMC registration, to be retained by the test centre
- Any one of the below-mentioned government-issued photo IDs such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport and Aadhaar card (with photograph).
NEET SS Exam 2025: Prohibited items
Candidates will not be allowed to take the items listed beyond the security checkpoint.
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, rraser, etc are prohibited.
- Any electronic device like a mobile phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, wrist watch/Health Band/Smart Watch, Calculator, Electronic Pen/ Scanner etc, will not be allowed.
- All ornaments such as bracelets, rings, earrings, nose-pin, chai, necklace with pendants, badge, etc.
- Items carried due to religious beliefs, if any, shall only be permitted after thorough examination.
- Other items like wallet, goggles, handbags, belt, cap, water bottle, or any edible item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle, etc will not be allowed.
As per the NEET SS 2025 exam pattern, candidates will be given 150 questions. Each section will comprise 50 questions, and for every correct answer, four marks will be awarded, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
