Register NowNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) registration process is expected to begin in March, as per past trends. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET UG 2024, single-largest medical entrance exam, will be held on May 5.
The application form will be made available two months before the NEET UG exam date , as per previous year trends. The NEET UG notification 2024 will also be published along with the activation of registration link. Class 12 students who appeared in the board exams and wish to pursue MBBS, medical undergraduate courses will have to qualify NEET exam.
As per the latest update announced by the National Medical Commission, NEET UG syllabus 2024 has been revised. The total chapters have been reduced from 97 to 79 chapters.
Last year, over 20 lakh candidates had appeared for the medical entrance exam in 4,097 exam centres located in 499 cities in India and 14 abroad. The exam usually is held from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting NEET UG counselling 2024 based on the rank for admission to 1 lakh MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc and AH seats.
