NEET UG 2025 Live: NTA NEET notification expected soon at neet.nta.nic.in; updates on revised pattern

In the latest update on NEET 2025 , the National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 scores will also be applicable for admission to Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS), and Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) programmes for the academic session 2025-26.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 syllabus on the new official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The National Medical Commission (NMC) issued the NEET 2025 syllabus on December 14 last year. There are no changes in the NEET UG syllabus 2025.

Along with NEET UG registration date 2025, NTA will also announce the NEET UG application fee and other details. Meanwhile, aspirants can check the category-wise NEET UG registration fee last year in the table given below.

Following several queries over use of APAAR ID for NEET UG registration 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) clarified that APAAR ID is not mandatory to fill the NEET UG 2025 application form. The testing agency had earlier asked aspirants to use the ID and Aadhaar-based authentication.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) earlier notified that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 will be held in a pen-and-paper mode in a single shift on a single day for admission to MBBS, BDS, other undergraduate medical programmes. The decision came after the education ministry formed a high-level expert committee to examine the functioning of NTA and suggest changes in conduct of entrance exams.

The National Testing Agency is expected to start the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 registration soon. Last year, the NEET UG registration process commenced on February 9. As per the NEET 2025 eligibility criteria, students who have completed 17 years of age and appeared/appearing for Class 12 or qualifying exam with English, physics, chemistry, and biology as the main subject will be eligible to write the exam.
