NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) concludes the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 exam every year, and thousands of candidates aim to secure seats in the top medical colleges through the NEET exam. NTA has not yet announced exam dates for NEET 2025. However, candidates planning to appear for the exam must start their preparation to ace the exam.

With proper preparation and planning candidates can qualify for the NEET 2025 exam. As per NTA, the NEET 2025 syllabus includes topics of physics, chemistry, and biology. Aspirants must prepare for each topic thoroughly keeping in mind the higher weightage topics in the exam.
Preparing for NEET requires a disciplined approach with the right strategies and focus to increase the chances of qualifying for the exam. The first and foremost step is to prepare a timetable which can be followed with dedication for exam preparation. All candidates must follow the timetable to avoid any stress of piling the tasks for later.
In a recent update, NTA also announced NEET UG 2025 will be held in pen-paper-based mode in a single day and shift. The NEET 2025 registration will begin soon on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in

According to Vipin Kumar Sharma the faculty at Physics Wallah (PW), to prepare for NEET UG candidates must design a schedule that compliments their classes. Students can watch pre-recoded lectures at their own pace, especially for topics they find challenging and are confident about.
Candidates should give some extra time to solve daily practice problems (DPPs) and also focus on revision. Candidates must aim for 3-4 hours of dedicated self-study for practice and thorough review.
Candidates should also make time for regular breaks to refresh themselves. One can engage in short physical exercises or activities during the breaks to keep themselves energized and also reduce stress. Candidates should avoid making new timetable every day or restart from scratch frequently. They should instead follow a stable timetable that can be maintained easily as consistency is key to achieve NEET preparation goals.
Candidates should make a priority list and take high-priority tasks first. Start with the most important subject as it will require more conceptual understanding and problem-solving. Candidates should prepare for difficult topics when their mind is fresh and do regular revisions to reinforce what they have already learned.
All students must understand the NEET 2025 exam pattern to score a good rank. The exam pattern will give an idea about the exam, the types of questions, and other relevant information about the exam. Candidates should also practice the previous year’s question papers as much as possible to understand more about the pattern of questions and its marking scheme as well.
As per the NEET 2025 exam pattern, there will be 200 MCQ questions in total and candidates will be given three hours and 20 minutes to complete the exam. According to recent update, the NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The total marks for the exam is 720. Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. However, there’s no negative marking for unanswered questions.
