The NEET 2026 exam was held on May 3 across 552 cities in India and 14 international cities in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The NEET 2026 exam was conducted for 3 hours, and the paper had 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), out of which students had to answer 180. The NEET 2026 question paper carried a total of 720 marks.
As per the NEET marking scheme, 4 marks will be given for each correct response, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

- Compare the recorded responses from your OMR sheet and NEET answer key.
The NEET provisional answer key challenge window has usually remained open for about 3 days in the past five years. If the same pattern continues, the NEET 2026 answer key challenge window is expected to be available from June 1–2 to June 3–4.
