NEET UG 2026 preparation: Focus on revision in the final week
With very little time left, experts strongly advise against picking up new topics. This is the time to go back to what students already studied and make it stronger.
Biology, being the most scoring section, should get maximum attention. A careful reading of NCERT, especially diagrams, examples, and key terms, can make a big difference. For all subjects, short notes, formula sheets, and quick revision tools like flashcards can help reinforce concepts and improve recall.
NEET UG 2026 strategy: Practice mock tests and analyse mistakes
Mock tests have become especially important in the last few days. They not only help students get comfortable with the exam pattern but also improve their time management.
Try to attempt a few full-length papers in a real exam-like setting. More importantly, students should spend time analysing their mistakes after each test. Understanding where they’re going wrong, it is more useful than just attempting more questions.
NEET UG 2026 subject tips: Balance all three sections
While Biology should be a student's priority, don’t neglect Physics and Chemistry. These subjects require regular practice to maintain speed and accuracy.
Revise formulas and key concepts in Physics daily. In Chemistry, focus on NCERT-based theory, reactions, and important concepts. A simple day-wise plan can help students cover all subjects without feeling overwhelmed.
NEET UG 2026: Stay calm and take care of health
At this point, students' mental and physical health is just as important as their preparation. Avoid over-studying or drastically changing the routine. Get enough sleep, eat light, and stay hydrated. A calm mind will help them think clearly during the exam. On the day before NEET, keep the revision light and avoid last-minute stress.
