Karnataka NEET UG, KCET round 1 counselling dates revised; confirm allotment by tomorrow

KEA has extended the KCET, UG-NEET 2024 choice entry deadline for selected candidates to September 5. Payment and choice entry post allotment link at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has again extended choice entry date for first round Karnataka UGCET and NEET UG seat allotment 2024. As per the revised schedule, the last date to confirm admission, opt for upgradation, or exit from KCET, Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024 has been extended till 11 am tomorrow, September 5. Those who are yet to confirm their allotment will have to exercise the facility through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
“Date extended for selection of Choice, payment of fees, submission of original documents and reporting to the college by the candidates who have been allotted Medical / Dental / AYUSH seats in the first round,” the KEA said.
In addition, candidates who have been allotted engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary, BPharm, BSc Nursing, Yoga and Naturopathy seats in the first round will also be able to complete the choice entry process during this period.
It also informed that the KEA will observe public holidays on September 7 and 8 on account of Ganesha Chaturthi and Sunday.
Candidates will have to opt one out of the four options provided. Choice 1 is for candidates who wish to take admission in the first allotted seats, choice 2 is for candidates who are satisfied with the allotment but wish to be considered for higher preference, choice 3 is for those who are not satisfied with the allocation and opt for upgradation, and choice 4 is for those who want to exit from the counselling.
