NEET UG, PG Counselling 2021: MCC directs states to revise counselling dates
NEET UG, PG state counselling 2021 dates to be revised due to clash in dates and the extension of All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling dates.

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on Saturday asked the states to revise the state National Eligibility cum Entrance Test undergraduate and postgraduate (NEET UG, PG) counselling dates. The decision comes after the MCC extended the NEET Counselling dates after the Supreme Court order.
The MCC in its latest notice said, “In view of the above, MCC of DGHS is receiving representations from the State DMEs regarding revision of Schedule of State counselling since the schedule of All India UG/ PG Counselling being conducted by MCC of DGHS and that of state counselling are clashing.”

“In this regard, it is mentioned that as a principle, the state counselling for each round should be conducted once All India Counselling for the respective round is completed by MCC of DGHS.”
The state counselling schedule is expected to be modified and so candidates are advised to check the respective state counselling website for the latest updates.
As per the revised dates, the MCC has extended the NEET PG Counselling 2021 round 2 choice filling date till February 14 (11 AM). Aspirants can complete their NEET PG 2021 round 2 choice filling process on mcc.nic.in. A total of 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,360 Doctor of Medicine (MD), and 922 PG Diploma seats will be offered based on NEET PG results.
Round 2 registration of the NEET UG 2021 Counselling, which was to begin from February 9, will start from February 16 to 21, 2022. MCC also issued a notice asking such candidates to send relevant documents to get converted to NRI by February 13. A total of 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc & AH seats will be granted through NEET 2021.
