Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) was held yesterday on May 5 for more than 24 lakh students. The NEET UG official answer key 2024 will be uploaded by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. Meanwhile, candidates can check the code-wise unofficial NEET answer key 2024 published by coaching centres here.
The NEET UG exam 2024 was held in pen and paper mode from 2 pm to 5.20 pm at 557 exam centres in India and 14 abroad. The exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks.
As per the exam pattern, the NEET question paper 2024 was divided into two sections - section A has 35 questions and section B has 15 questions carrying 140 marks and 40 marks respectively. According to the medical aspirants, NEET exam was moderate in difficulty level with physics being the toughest and zoology the easiest.
Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Additionally, no mark will be allotted for questions left unanswered.
After the NEET UG results 2024 are declared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET counselling 2024 to fill 1,07,000 MBBS seats. Admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses will be based on the difficulty level of the exam, number of students who appeared, seat matrix and previous years’ NEET UG cut-off trends.

The NTA NEET answer key is expected to be issued in the first week of June. Candidates will be allowed to challenge the answers by paying a non-refundable fees of Rs 200 per question. The NEET results 2024 will be declared based on the final answer key.
