NIFT announces CAT and GAT result on March 22
Candidates can download NIFT past 5 years cutoff to get an idea on the opening and closing ranks for admission to NIFT campuses.

New Delhi, March 22: National Institute of Fashion Technology has announced the result of the national level design entrance exam on March 22, 2018. Candidates, who appeared for Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) on January 21, 2018, for Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) programmes, can check their result in online mode by entering roll number and date of birth. Based on the result of CAT and GAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for situation test (to be held in April/May) for B.Des. admissions.

Candidates can check steps to check result of NIFT entrance exam2018 :

Click on ‘NIFT 2018 result’ tab.

Enter roll number, date of birth and application number.

Click on ‘proceed/login’ button.
NIFT result 2018 will be displayed on the computer screen. Candidates are required to verify all the mentioned details, and take a printout for future purpose.
The result will be available in form of scorecard, which is also one of the most important documents required during admission procedure. This will be required to be produced by them at the time of counselling. It will mention following information:

The final result will be declared in May/June 2018. Those scoring higher marks will be shortlisted in the final merit list. Based on the merit list, candidates will get admission across 16 campuses of NIFT.
NIFT cutoff 2018 will be declared by National Institute of Fashion Technology which is the section and campus-wise closing rank. It will depend on various factors such as a total number of candidates appearing in NIFT 2018, total candidates who cleared it, the difficulty level of question paper, total seats for B. Design and B. F. Tech programmes.
National Institute of Fashion Technology's entrance examination will offer as many as 2010 seats of B. Design and 360 seats of B.F.Tech programme across 16 NIFT campuses that are located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kannur, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Raebareli, Shillong, Patna, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Srinagar, Chennai and Bhopal.
