Selection procedure

All India Category

Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from the school located in India (including Gujarat State) and recognised by Nirma University, with a minimum 60% aggregate marks at first attempt.

Students will be shortlisted on the basis of Class 12th score, IPMAT score, followed by a personal interview round carrying weightage of 20%, 50% and 30% respectively.

NRI / NRI Sponsored Category

(A) For NRI (Self): Class 12th or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 60% and they have to submit an equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

(B) For NRI Sponsored: Class 12th or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 60% and shortlisted students need to appear for a personal interview round along with submission of a sponsorship letter from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program.

Students will be shortlisted on the basis of Class 12th score, entrance examination score, followed by a personal interview round carrying weightage of 20%, 50% and 30% respectively.

Gujarat State Category

Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from the school located in India (including Gujarat State) and recognised by Nirma University, with a minimum 90% aggregate marks at first attempt.

• Weightage of the qualifying examination: 70%

• Weightage of performance in Personal Interview: 30%

International students: CIWGC-SEA/PIO/OCI/FN

Category 1: Foreign Nationals having non-Indian passports (FN), OR foreign students having a non-Indian passport and also having the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can apply under OCI/PIO/FN Supernumerary category that has 10% seats reserved.

Category 2 : Students whose parents are currently working in Gulf countries or South-East Asia can apply under the CIWGC-SEA Supernumerary category that has 5% seats reserved. The students must hold Indian passports and should have passed qualifying exams either from India or outside India.
