NLU Delhi launches certificate course in Intellectual Property Rights; apply at mentblue.com/courses

NLU Delhi's Two-month online programme with 15 live sessions; eligibility open to students, lawyers and professionals
National Law University (NLU) Delhi, through its Centre for Regulatory Studies (CRS), has launched a certificate course on ‘Intellectual Property Rights: Law and Practice’ in collaboration with legal education platform Mentblue. Candidates interested in the course can register at mentblue.com/courses
As per the NLU Delhi press release, the certificate course is aimed at law students, lawyers, in-house counsel, and professionals seeking practical exposure to intellectual property law and related commercial practices.
The course will be conducted online over two months and consists of 15 live sessions spread across seven modules. Classes will be held on weekends, with participants receiving access to session recordings for six months after completion.
As per NLU Delhi, the course covers key areas of intellectual property law, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, industrial designs, geographical indications, trade secrets, data protection, and IP licensing. It also includes drafting exercises and assignment workshops designed to provide hands-on exposure to practical legal work.
NLU Delhi Certificate Course: Eligibility criteria
Applications are open to candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Eligible applicants include;
- Students pursuing a three-year LLB, five-year integrated law course, or LLM.
- Law graduates and practising advocates.
- Professionals working in finance, accountancy, valuation, technology licensing, and related sectors.
- Corporate professionals, in-house counsel, and strategy teams.
- Candidates holding a bachelor's degree or those currently enrolled in a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate course.
To receive certification, participants must maintain at least 75% attendance and complete the prescribed assignments.
NLU Delhi IP R Course: Fee and registration
The course fee has been fixed at:
- Rs 12000 (inclusive of taxes) for students currently enrolled in recognised universities.
- Rs 15000 (inclusive of taxes) for professionals, including lawyers, in-house counsel, and corporate executives.

The fee includes access to all live sessions, study material, document libraries, recorded lectures, and a certificate issued by NLU Delhi upon successful completion. EMI payment options are also available.
Interested candidates can register through the programme portal at Mentblue. Seats are limited and admissions will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
