In 2023, MARB partnered with the Quality Council of India (QCI) for assessment of medical colleges. NMC framed “Establishment of medical institutions, assessment and rating regulations, 2023,” wherein it said that the MARB may appoint one or more independent third-party agencies to conduct assessment and rating of medical colleges on its behalf.
