The annual One Globe Conference 2018 is scheduled to be held on 9th & 10th Feb in New Delhi. The Forum brings together global thought leaders to discuss how we can build a 21st century knowledge economy in India and South Asia. It is India's leading forum exploring the intersection of technology, innovation, smart cities, skills, regional collaboration and education and their role in building a 21st century knowledge economy.
India and larger South Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan & Maldives) account for nearly a quarter of the world's population and the region has played a historical role in the development of the world economy. India alone has one of the youngest demographics in the world with 54% of its 1.3 billion people under the age of 25.
One Globe Forum will focus on ideas, issues and impact of the government's ambitious agenda to transform India into a 21st century knowledge economy through its initiatives like "Digital India", "Make in India" and "Smart Cities".
