Chandigarh: Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Thursday flagged the “possibility” of colleges in neighbouring Haryana to be affiliated with Chandigarh-based Panjab University, triggering a strong reaction from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
In a statement issued by the Haryana government, Purohit, who is also the administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, said this (affiliation) is possible with mutual consent of chief ministers of both the states.
