NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has extended the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2024 registration deadline to November 15. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for PM Internship 2024 scheme by visiting the official website at pminternship.mca.gov.in.
The duration of the PM Internship 2024 is 12 months. Under the internship scheme, the company will provide a monthly payment of Rs 500, which will be reported on the portal. The government will release Rs 4,500, which will be transferred to candidates via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). There is no registration fee.

Who are not eligible?
Graduates from institutions such as IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISERs, NIDs, and IIITs.
Hold qualifications like CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, or any Master's or higher degree.
Currently participating in any skill, apprenticeship, internship, or student training programme under Central or State Government schemes.
Have previously completed apprenticeship or training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
If any family member’s income exceeds Rs 8 lakh for the financial year 2023-24.
If any family member is a permanent or regular government employee.

Internships are available in fields such as IT, software development, banking, financial services, oil, gas, energy, FMCG, telecom, retail, automotive, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, aviation, defense, and many others. These internships cover a wide range of industries including manufacturing, media, consulting, agriculture, and textiles, providing candidates with diverse career options.
