PNB SO 2024 online written test on March 31; exam pattern, selection process

The Punjab National Bank is conducting PNB SO 2024 online written exam for recruitment of 1,025 specialist officers.
NEW DELHI: The Punjab National Bank has declared the PNB Specialist Officer 2024 online written test will be held on March 31 for 1,025 vacancies of specialist officers. The bank is holding the PNB SO 2024 for filling 1,000 posts of credit officers, 15 of manager forex and 5 each of cyber security and senior security manager.
The PNB SO online written exam will have two parts with four sections each. In part 1 there will be 100 questions with 25 questions each in reasoning and English language and 50 questions in quantitative aptitude. The part 2 will have one section, professional knowledge, which will have 50 questions. The questions in part 1 will be of one mark each while questions in part 2 will be worth 2 marks each.
For each wrong answer given by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted, the PNB said. Candidates clearing the PNB SO 2024 online written exam will be selected for the personal interview.

Candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks as decided by the bank in Part-I will be considered for shortlisting for interview on the basis of merit prepared as per marks obtained by them in Part-II.
The students will have to submit the required documents before the personal interview. Personal Interview will be of 50 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 22.50 for SC/ST candidates and 25 for other candidates.
