Punjab PCS 2025 Notification: Application begins for 322 vacancies; apply by January 31

NEW DELHI : The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released the notification for the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination (PSCSCCE) 2025 exams. Interest and eligible candidates can now apply through the official website at ppsc.gov.in
According to the official notice, the last date to apply for the various PCS posts is January 31, 2025. The exam will be held tentatively in April 2025. Official exam dates are yet to be announced.
The PSCSCCE 2025 is being held for a total of 322 posts including Punjab civil service (executive branch), tehsildar, deputy superintendent of police, labour-cum-conciliation officer, food and civil supply officer, excise and taxation officer (ETO), etc.
Candidates applying for various posts must submit all the accurate documents along with the information in the application form, or else, their application will be rejected. Candidates are advised to check all the information regarding the exam, eligibility criteria, and other general guidelines through the official website before applying for the exam.

PPSC 2025: Selection process
The PPSC selection process involves two steps preliminary exam and main competitive exam (written and interview). The preliminary exam will consist of 200 marks with multiple choice questions (MCQ). Paper 1 includes general studies questions with a total of 100 questions and Paper 2 Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) will have 80 questions. For Paper 1 candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer and Paper 2, 2.5 marks for each correct answer.
Candidates must secure at least 40% marks in paper 2 to qualify for the prelims exam and paper 2 CSAT marks will not be counted for the determination of the merit of the preliminary exam. The merit of the prelim exam will be solely determined by paper 1, that is general studies.
