REET 2021: Students demand announcement of exam dates
Students across Rajasthan are demanding the dates for REET 2021. REET 2021 EWS registrations are also expected to begin from next week.

NEW DELHI : Students from Rajasthan took to Twitter to demand the authorities to release the new dates for the REET 2021 exam. “The decision related to the REET 2021 exam will be taken within 1-2 days and the EWS registrations will start soon,” Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara told the media on Saturday, as reported by Live Hindustan. Candidates planning to appear for the REET exam are advised to check the latest information on reetbser21.com .

A REET aspirant tagged several others to raise their voice against the repeated postponement of REET exam dates.

The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on June 20, however, the REET exam was postponed due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.

The Department of Education, Rajasthan earlier announced through its official Twitter handle that the
REET exam
which was scheduled to be held on June 20, 2021, has been postponed further due to the pandemic situation caused by COVID-19.
Previously, the REET 2021 was scheduled to be held on April 25, but the RBSE postponed it saying that they want to give chances to EWS category candidates. As reported earlier, over 13 lakh candidates applied for REET 2021 , however, with the EWS registrations to begin soon, the number of applicants is expected to increase more.
What is the REET 2021 exam?
REET is the Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test, which is conducted by the Department of Education, Rajasthan to make candidates eligible to apply for the post of teachers from classes 1 to 8 in the state of Rajasthan.
