NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education has declared the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) result 2024 for over 15 lakh candidates. REET 2025 was held on February 27 and 28 in a pen-and-paper mode in three shifts at 1,731 exam centres for the recruitment of teachers for level 1 (Classes 1 to 6) and level 2 (Classes 6 to 8) in state government schools. The exam took place for 2 hours and 30 minutes and recorded 88.55% attendance. Over 2.70 lakh candidates registered for the exam in Jaipur itself.

RBSE issued the REET answer key 2025 on March 25 for both level 1 and level 2 exams. The board dropped certain questions from the provisional answer key for which aspirants were awarded bonus marks.

As per REET 2024 exam pattern, the test carried a total of 150 marks. REET level 1 and 2 passing marks are 60% for candidates belonging to the general category and 55% for SC, ST, OBC applicants.

For the first time, the board introduced face-recognition technology in REET 2024 to identify impersonatiors, as part of the robust security measures. Moreover, in a modification to the exam pattern, BSER introduced a new OMR rule and negative marking. Accordingly, there were options as answers to questions and one-third of marks were deduced to incorrect responses.

Initially, the secretary of state education department decided to hold the REET exam in a single day, in a review meeting.
