SBI PO 2023 registration ends today; exam pattern

State Bank of India is conducting the SBI PO 2023 exam for 2,000 vacancies.
NEW DELHI: The State Bank of India will close the registration window for applying for the probationary officer (SBI PO 2023) exam today. Candidates can fill the SBI PO 2023 application on the official website, bank.sbi/careers.

SBI PO 2023 is being held for 2,000 vacancies. Aspirants applying for the examination should be in the age group 21 to 30 years and have secured a bachelor’s or an equivalent degree from a recognised university. They will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 750. Those belonging to SC, ST, PwD candidates will be exempted from paying registration fee.
Candidates pursuing the final semester of the undergraduate programme can also apply for SBI PO 2023. They will have to present the proof of clearing the graduation exam at the time of document verification.
SBI PO 2023 exam pattern
The SBI PO exam 2023 will be conducted in three stages – preliminary, mains, and an interview round. The SBI PO preliminary examination will have 100 questions in three sections – reasoning ability, English language, quantitative aptitude. Students will have to attempt the paper in an hour. They will be awarded one mark for each question while .25 marks will be deducted.

SBI PO mains exam will be an objective test with ‘English letter writing and essay’ as descriptive exam. The SBI PO Mains will have sections – reasoning and computer aptitude, data analysis and interpretation, general/economy/banking awareness and English Language.
Candidates will have to attempt 155 questions in three hours. The descriptive test will be of 30 minutes wherein candidates have attempt two questions for 50 marks. Students will be givem 60 minutes to complete reasoning and computer aptitude, and 45 minutes for data analysis and interpretation. They will have completed the general awareness in 35 minutes and English in 40 minutes.
