Shimla: During a routine inspection conducted by the state food commission, 10 Anganwadi centres under the Dhar Chandna Circle in Kupvi subdivision, including Gaonkhar, and others were found locked, a statement issued on Saturday said.
The Directorate of School Education suspended the teacher following a report by the Rohru SDM. Villagers had earlier complained that the teacher frequently came to school intoxicated, forcing students to move to other schools.

Information boards should be installed in every school and college, clearly displaying details of all scholarship schemes so that students do not face any difficulty in completing the application process, the CM said.
Union Minister Suresh Gopi criticised the state’s General Education Minister over school facilities in Vattavada. Responding on social media, V Sivankutty mocked Gopi’s outreach programme and questioned the Union minister’s contribution to the state.
MoE will organise the sessions on Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil languages on October 24 and 25.
