Sharda University organises graduation 2022-23; 170 international students get degrees

Sharda University through its international department supports students from different countries to celebrate their cultural traditions and festivals.
NEW DELHI: Sharda University organized a graduation ceremony for international students for the batch of 2022-23 at the university campus. A total of 600 students participated in the ceremony and around 170 international students from over 50 different countries were awarded certificates on successful completion of their respective degree programmes.
Ibrahim, an MBA student expressed his gratitude and said, "During my five years at Sharda University, I have experienced a nurturing environment akin to being part of a close-knit family. The university's administration and faculty have been incredibly supportive throughout."
The student highlighted that the university also has a dedicated department for international students on its campus. Students from different countries can celebrate their cultural traditions and festivals with the help of this department.

Sibaram Khara, the vice-chancellor of Sharda University, said, "Today holds immense significance for every student present here. The graduation ceremony does not mark an end, but rather signifies the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.”
The graduation ceremony was attended by Ashok Dayrani, the director of International Relations and Alok Gupta, Chief and Proctor, at Sharda University along with diplomats from other countries.

Victoria Samuel, Ambassador, of South Sudan addressed the students and said “I know about the challenges that students encounter when studying abroad. Adjusting to new languages and cultures can be daunting, which is why I urged everyone to extend their support and guidance to these students. I feel immense pride in the fact that the institution has students from over 95 countries associated with it.”
The South Sudan ambassador congratulated the graduates, and further expressed, “They will bring honour and recognition to their country, the institution, and their families.”
