NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit card for the National Entrance Test 2024 for the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA NETS) 2024 today, May 2. Candidates who have filled out the application form can download the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 admit card through the official website, shreshta.ntaonline.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the SHRESHTA NETS 2024 admit card. The SHRESHTA NETS admit card carries details such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, exam time, exam centre details (including address and venue), and any specific instructions for the exam day.

The SHRESHTA NETS 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on May 11. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The SHRESHTA NETS opened the correction window from April 6 to 8.

To be eligible for SHRESHTA NETS, candidates' parental income should not exceed 2.5 lakh per year. Students from scheduled castes in Class 8, 10 can apply for the SHRESHTA NETS exams for Class 9, 10, respectively.

Candidates for Class 9 should be born between April 1, 2008, and March 31, 2012, while those applying for Class 11 should be born between April 1, 2006, and March 31, 2010.

The SHRESHTA scheme, launched by the central government, aims to deliver education to deserving scheduled caste (SC) students. Through this programme, around 3,000 SC category students will be chosen to secure admission to CBSE-affiliated schools nationwide for Class 9 and 11.

SHRESHTA NETS 2024: Exam pattern

The SHRESHTA NETS exam will have four subjects carrying 100 questions in total. Candidates will get 180 minutes to complete the exam. As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. Subject-wise questions and marks distribution is given in the table below.
