Try NowThe Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2027 registration commenced for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate law programmes at Symbiosis Law Schools in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad and Nagpur. Candidates can register through the official SLAT website at slat-test.org. The last date to submit the SLAT application form 2026 and pay the registration fee is December 4, 2026.
Candidates applying for SLAT 2027 must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. General category candidates must have secured at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade, while candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories must have secured at least 40% marks.
SLAT is the entrance test for undergraduate law programmes offered by Symbiosis Law Schools. The programmes include BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), BA LLB and BBA LLB.

SLAT 2027: Important dates
The SLAT 2027 computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted on December 19 and December 26, 2026. Candidates can appear for both tests, with the higher score considered for evaluation. The admit cards for SLAT Test 1 and Test 2 will be released on December 11 and December 18, 2026, respectively.

SLAT 2027 registration, application fee
Candidates can register by visiting the official SLAT portal, entering their personal and academic details and completing the verification process through the OTP sent to their registered email address or mobile number. The application process will be completed after payment of the applicable fee.
After successful registration, candidates will receive their SLAT ID and password through email and SMS. Candidates are advised to keep their registered email ID and mobile number active throughout the admission process.
Candidates are advised to ensure that all information entered in the application form is accurate. The university reserves the right to cancel a candidate's candidature if incorrect information is provided.
The registration fee is Rs 2,550 per test, excluding applicable government taxes. Candidates also have to pay Rs 1,000 per programme for institute selection.
SLAT exam pattern
The examination will be conducted at 62 centres across India. The test will consist of 60 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. It will cover five sections—legal reasoning, logical aptitude, analytical skills, reading comprehension and general knowledge. There will be no negative marking in SLAT 2027. The test timings will be mentioned on the candidates' admit cards.
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually in December. Symbiosis Law School, Pune, was ranked 7th in the law category in the NIRF 2025 rankings, according to the information released by Symbiosis.
