SRFTI Announces Merit List for its 12 Programmes

Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute has announced the first merit list for 12 of its programmes in online mode on June 27. The final result is based on the performance of the candidates in the Joint Entrance exam which was conducted on February 18 in offline mode. The result for the Joint Entrance Exam was announced online mode on April 15.
Candidates who cleared the entrance exam, they had to participate in the next round of selection which was orientation and interview. For different departments, the orientation and interview were held from May 30 till June 26. In order to confirm their admission, candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs 92,675 in online mode. They will have to send the transaction id to srfti.admission2018@gmail.com for confirmation.
The admission process as per the first merit list will be held from June 28 to July 9; according to the second merit list and waiting list, it will be held from July 12-July 24, while admission for the third merit list and for the second waiting list, admission will be held from July 26-July 30.
At the time of admission, candidates will have to bring with them the following documents for verification along with two sets of self-attested copies.

Original Mark-sheets & Admit Cards (Class X/ XII/ Degree)

Three stamp size (2x2.5cm) colour photographs.

Self-attested photocopies of all admit cards and marksheets

Copy of the application form
Parents’/guardian’s income certificate or, any one of the following
a. Copy of the Income Tax Return
b. Copy of Form 16
c. Copy of the Pay Slip/ Salary Certificate from the employer
d. Income Certificate from local MLA/Councilor

Photo ID card like voter Id card, Driving license, Aadhaar card, Passport etc for contact address

Original Caste Certificate (SC/ST candidates only) and two self-attested photocopies

OBC (Non-Creamy) original Certificate along with two self-attested copies of category certificate which are issued after January 2017 by a recognised authority
