SRM postpones engineering entrance exams; new dates to be announced on or before April 1

NEW DELHI: SRM institute of Science and Technology has announced the postponement of SRMJEEE 2020 and SRMJEEE PG 2020 due to coronavirus outbreak. As per the institute, new exam dates for both undergraduate and postgraduate entrance exams will now be announced on or before April 1.
As SRMJEEE 2020 was scheduled to be held from April 12 to 20, students were worried about the conduction of the exam and were posting various queries everywhere. Looking at the scenario, SRM institute has now released a notice to answer all the queries of the students. Institute has also advised parents and candidates to keep checking the website for all the latest updates.
SRMJEEE PG 2020 was expected to be held in the third or fourth week of May and the application process had already started on the website on December 11, 2019. Last date of application is April 30. Candidates can fill their application till the last date, there is no change in the application dates. But, looking at the widespread outbreak of coronavirus, the authorities also decided to announce new dates for both the exams.
The coronavirus outbreak has resulted in the postponement of many engineering examinations like JEE Main, GUJCET 2020 and many others are expected to be postponed.
