Check Now!NEW DELHI, MAY 1: SRM Institute of Science & Technology has announced the result of SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering ( SRMJEEE ) 2018 in online mode on May 1. Students from seven different states featured in the top 10 All India Ranks.
The entrance exam was held from April 16 to 30 for the candidates who were seeking admission to various B.Tech programmes in SRM University Haryana, SRM University AP and the 4 campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) with around 30 crore worth of scholarships available for deserving students.
Candidates who have appeared for the University-level entrance exam can check their result from the applicant’s dashboard by entering their registration number, date of birth and security code. Details like section-wise marks, All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate and total marks will be displayed in the result which will be downloaded in the form of rank card.
Along with the result, SRM has also released the counselling schedule for the qualified candidates. Based on the result the authorities will prepare the merit list to shortlist the candidates for counselling. Candidates whose name will appeared in the merit list will be called for counselling procedure. The candidate can download their rank card as well as their counseling call letter from the applicant’s dashboard.
Steps to Download Result
To download the result, follow mentioned below steps:
- Visit the applicant’s dashboard
- Enter the registration number of SRMJEEE 2018 and Date of Birth
- The candidate may also be required to enter the security code
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- The result will be displayed on screen.
- The candidate can download and take a printout of the SRMJEEE 2018 result in the form of rank card
What After Result?
All the shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling procedure, held from May 7 to 17. The counselling process will be held in offline mode. Candidates need to download and carry c ounselling call letter to the notified centre on the scheduled date and time for verification of original certificates. What candidates need to make note is that mere receipt of the counseling call letter does not mean the candidate is found eligible for admission to the particular degree programme.
The admission is subject to various factors like satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria as stipulated by the respective institutions, their rank order listed by SRMJCCA 2018, production of all original certificates and other documents listed for verification, and payment of registration and full tuition fees.
