Since the tier 1 computer based examination was conducted in multiple shifts, SSC has applied a normalization formula, as per its official methodology, to ensure fairness. The normalized scores have been used to shortlist candidates for Tier 2.
The result and scorecard include details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, category, post applied for, date of birth, and parents’ names, along with Tier II qualification status.
For the CHSL 2025–26 recruitment cycle, the commission received applications from approximately 30.69 lakh candidates. However, only 11,07,975 candidates appeared for the tier 1 examination. Of these, 39,901 candidates have been shortlisted by the SSC to advance to the next stage, tier 2.
Candidates who have qualified will now appear for tier 2, which includes an objective test in session 1 and a skill test or typing test in session 2. The commission is yet to announce the official date for the tier 2 examination.
