SSC CHSL final results 2023 declared; 1,211 candidates shortlisted, category-wise cut-offs

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination final results. A total of 1,211 candidates have been provisionally recommended for appointment based on the tier 2 exam results and document verification.
SSC CHSL tier 1 results were announced on September 27, in which 17,495 candidates were shortlisted in list 1. 754 in list 2 and 1,307 in list 3 were selected for DEO and other posts. Moreover, an additional result was also declared on December 12.
Shortlisted candidates appeared in the SSC CHSL tier 2 exam 2023 from November 2 to January 1. Accordingly, 14,548 candidates shortlisted for the post of LDC, JSA, JPA appeared in the typing test of tier-II and 1,679 candidates shortlisted for the post of DEOs appeared in DEST.
In all, 11,467 candidates who submitted their preferences online were considered for further selection process. As per the minimum qualifying percentage, general candidates with 30% marks in tier 2 exam, OBC, EWS with 25%, and other categories : candidates with 20% were declared successful in the selection process.

The commission found that five debarred candidates appeared in the exam and their results have been cancelled. “The final results of 06 candidates bearing Roll Nos. 2201082323, 2201123688, 2201247761, 2405076799, 2405154607, 2405169214 have been kept withheld due to various reasons,” it said.
Further document verification for the final appointment process will be done now. Those shortlisted candidates who do not receive any correspondence from the department within six months are required to communicate immediately for an update.
