NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the window for raising objections to the answer key of the SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) 2024 exam today, December 14. Candidates who are not satisfied with the solutions can raise objections against the SSC JHT 2024 answer key through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

To raise objections against the SSC JHT 2024 answer key, candidates will need to use their login credentials, including their registration number and date of birth, along with any relevant supporting documents.

Candidates who wish to challenge the SSC JHT 2024 answer key must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 100 per question. The objection window will close at 6 pm on December 14.

The SSC JHT 2024 response sheet has been released along with the provisional answer key. Candidates can use both the provisional answer key and response sheet to estimate their likely scores in the exam.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 312 vacancies for junior Hindi translator, junior translator, and senior Hindi translator posts. The SSC JHT 2024 exam was conducted on December 9 at various exam centres across the country.

SSC JHT Answer Key 2024: Calculate probable score

  • For each correct answer: Add +1 mark.
  • For each incorrect answer: Deduct 0.25 marks.
  • For unanswered questions: No marks are added or deducted.

Total Score=(Number of Correct Answers×1)−(Number of Incorrect Answers×0.25)

The SSC JHT paper 1 comprised questions from both General Hindi and General English. It was a 2-hour exam with 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. A penalty of 0.25 marks was applied for each incorrect answer. In contrast, SSC JHT Paper 2 will be a descriptive exam, featuring language translation and essay writing. This paper will be of 200 marks and will also be conducted over a duration of 2 hours.
