Study Abroad: University of East Anglia announces UG, PG scholarships for Indian students

Study in UK: The UG and PG scholarships being offered by University of East Anglia will cover tuition fee, accommodation, and living expenses.
NEW DELHI: The University of East Anglia (UEA Norwich) has announced new scholarships for Indian students aspiring to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the academic year 2024-2025. Each scholarship is unique and cannot be combined with any other scholarship by the university. The students will have to apply for the scholarships in the specific deadlines.
The scholarships being awarded to the Indian students by the UEA are following:
UEA India Award
The UEA India Award is a scholarship for Indian postgraduate students. This scholarship covers tuition fees for eligible programmes across schools including economics, humanities, engineering, chemistry, art, media and american studies, music, law and others.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants should be a citizen of India or residing here at the time of application. Additionally, they ought to have received either a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate programme at UEA. The students will be awarded UK Pound 4,000 if the candidates meet UEA entry criteria, UK Pound 5,000 for achieving a final undergraduate grade of 65% or higher, and an extra UK Pound 5,000 for an LLB score of 60% or above.
UEA India UG scholarship
This scholarship programme extends support to high achieving Indian students by directly acknowledging and rewarding their accomplishments. An Indian national or resident to have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time bachelor's degree at the UEA will be eligible to receive UK Pound 4,000 reduction in tuition fees for the first year under the scholarship.

Global UG Excellence scholarship
This scholarship is designed to honour and assist international students who have secured an offer to pursue their UG studies at UEA. The primary aim of this scholarship is to offer financial assistance to overseas students embarking on their undergraduate journey at the university. With an annual grant of UK Pound 4,000, it covers up to three years of undergraduate study where exceptional applications are considered for a UK Pound 10,000 yearly award.

Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship
This scholarship will support talented Indian writers to enable them to undertake study in UEA’s department of literature, drama and creative writing. Valued at UK Pound 28,500, the scholarship requires applicants to submit a separate application.
David Sainsbury Full MSc scholarship
The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship is offered to a restricted number of candidates applying for the MSc in Global Plant Health. This scholarship encompasses the entire tuition fee (UK Pound 31,500), includes a maintenance grant, and provides an extra UK Pound 4,000 to cover travel expenses.
