Tamil Nadu begins admission process for MBBS, BDS ahead of re-NEET UG 2026 results

Tamil Nadu MBBS, BDS Admissions 2026: Candidates should have qualified the NEET and Class 12 exam from a recognised board to be eligible to apply for medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Check NowThe Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee (TNMSC) has started registration for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes through government and management quota today. Eligible candidates can apply for medicine admissions through the official website at tnmedicalselection.org or tnhealth.tn.gov.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the re-NEET UG 2026 results soon on its official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
The committee has not announced the last date to apply for MBBS , and BDS admissions at Tamil Nadu government, deemed and private medical colleges yet for the academic year 2026-27.
To register for admission to medical programmes at Tamil Nadu colleges , candidates have to select their qualifying examination, enter date of birth, qualified year, HSC or equivalent register number, select whether +1 passed (yes or no), type login ID, mobile number, email address.
They also have to create a new password and enter their name as per in the Class 12th marksheet to complete the registration process.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) as well as Class 12 exam from a recognised board. The minimum age limit for medical admissions is 17 years.
Tamil Nadu MBBS Admissions 2026: Document required
Candidates should have submit the list of documents as given below while applying for the MBBS admissions.
- NEET UG 2026 re-exam 2026 admit card and scorecard.
- Class 10 mark sheet.
- Class 11 mark sheet.
- HSC mark sheet.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) of plus two exams or equivalent courses.
- Certificate for proof of study from Class 6 to 12.
- Native certificate.
- Permanent community certificate card.
- First graduate certificate, if applicable.

Here are the steps given below to submit the application form for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes at Tamil Nadu medical colleges.
- Go to the official website at tnmedicalselection.org.
- Click on “new online registration for admission to MBBS, BDS 2026” link.
- On the new page, fill in the required details.
- Press submit button.
- Preview, read carefully and click on ‘submit’
- Download the submitted application form for future use.
Candidates will be given admission to MBBS, BDS seats on the basis of their NEET UG 2026 re-exam scores, and other parameters.
