TANCET 2018 Applications available now

NEW DELHI, APRIL 2: Anna University has released the applications for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2018 on April 2. The last date to register for the entrance test is April 23, 2018. Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu will conduct the exam on May 19 and 20.

The entrance test is for admissions to M.B.A., M.C.A. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. Degree Programmes for the year 2018 - 2019 offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Campuses of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges and Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges including stand-alone Institutions) in Tamil Nadu.
The application form is available only in online mode. Other State candidates can also appear for the entrance test provided they meet the eligibility conditions stipulated by the admitting authority / University.

How to Apply for TANCET?
- Candidates must go to the website of Anna University and click on the TANCET 2018 link given therein.
- The application form is online and candidates need to register before they can fill it.
- They are required to fill in their personal, academic and address details.
- They will also be required to upload a photograph and signature as per the given specifications
- Payment of application fee is online only. Application fee payable is Rs 500 in case of General, OBC while it is Rs 250 for SC/ST/SCA candidates.
- Candidates have to fill only one application form for all the three programmes.
- However in case they wish to apply for more than one programme, they will be required to pay the additional application fee of Rs 500 ( Rs 250 in case of SC/ST/SCA candidate)
