TANCET 2024 exam today for MBA, MCA; what to carry, marking scheme

TANCET 2024 MBA exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm while MCA paper will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon.
NEW DELHI: Anna University will conduct the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2024 today, March 9, for admission to MBA, MCA programmes offered by participating institutions in the 2024-25 academic session. As per the TANCET 2024 exam timings, MCA test will be conducted in the morning shift from 10 am to 12 noon while test for MBA courses will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
TANCET exam 2024 will be conducted at 15 examination centres including Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram, and Bargur.
Students will have to carry their TANCET hall ticket 2024 to the examination hall along with a valid photo identity card.
According to the exam pattern, an MBA question paper will evaluate a candidate's ability to identify the data and apply it to business decisions from given typical business situations, skill of the candidate in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension, and student’s skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level including those learnt in plus two or equivalent level.
On the other hand, the MCA question paper will have questions on quantitative ability, analytical ability, logical reasoning, and computer awareness.
Both MBA and MCA papers will comprise of 100 questions each. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
