Telangana CSSS 2025: Scholarship applications open till Nov 15; TGBIE lists 61,000 in top 20th percentile

Students can apply for Telangana CSSS 2025 scholarship scheme through the official website at tgbie.cgg.gov.in.
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has announced that the Ministry of Education will close the registrations for fresh and renewal applications for the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS 2025) for college and university students on November 15.
Interested students can apply for Telangana CSSS 2025 scheme through the official website at tgbie.cgg.gov.in.
Moreover, the board has also announced the ministry will close the official link for verification of Institute Nodal Officer (INO) on November 30, 2025.
“All the stake holders of National Merit Scholarship are hereby informed that, the Ministry of Education, Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students of National Scholarship Govt of India, announced the last date for both Fresh applications and Renewal applications of the National Scholarship. The last date is up to 15th November, 2025,” according to the official notification.
Students who passed Intermediate Public Examination 2025 can apply for fresh applications, while those who were selected earlier for national scholarship can renew their applications for the academic year 2025-26.
In addition, the board has also issued a list of top 20th percentile of selected candidates for IPE 2025.
As per the list, overall 61,135 students have been selected for top 20th percentile, including 18,696 from general, 33,932 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), 8,446 Scheduled Caste (SC) students, 5,361 from Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 43 from Physically Handicapped (PH) category.
