Telangana school reopens today amid Covid-19 spike: Reports

The Telangana government has decided to introduce English as the medium of instruction for Classes 1 to 7 from this academic year.
NEW DELHI: After summer vacation, the Telangana schools reopen today, June 13. The state education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy had on Sunday clarified that there will be no extension of summer vacation amid the speculation of postponing Telangana school reopening date.
According to the ANI report, a parent said, “Schools reopen in Hyderabad from today. Studying online is a different thing but at school, kids get an interactive environment, which makes them happy and active. We are taking necessary COVID precautions."
The Minister said that she has directed the administrators of public and private schools to make necessary arrangements, as per reports.

“The government has decided to introduce English as the medium of instruction for Classes 1 to 7 from this academic year. For this, 1.04 lakh government teachers have been trained in collaboration with Azim Premji University, the Indian Express reported.
Meanwhile, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education is expected to announce the TS intermediate results 2022 in the last week of June or first week of July 2022.
Telangana on Sunday recorded 129 new COVID-19 cases taking the total count in the state to 7,94,458, a health department bulletin said.
