NEW DELHI: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will be conducting the common entrance tests i.e., EAMCET, ECET and PGECET tentatively in June. The exam had been postponed earlier due to COVID-19 and the nationwide lockdown till May 3, 2020. However, Telangana is under lockdown till May 7, 2020.
TSCHE Chairman T Papi Reddy spoke to The New Indian Express regarding the upcoming examination and explained that the authorities will take about three weeks to conduct all the CETs after the application process is over. Therefore, there are chances of the examination being conducted in mid week of June 2020 if lockdown is not further extended by the government authorities.
Candidates can apply for all common entrance tests till May 5, 2020 in online mode. The correction facility for the submitted application forms will be available from May 6 to 11, 2020. The complete schedule will soon be released by the authorities.
The authorities will conduct TS EAMCET for admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes and TS PGECET is for postgraduate engineering courses. TS ECET is conducted for lateral entry into the second year of the undergraduate engineering programmes.
