TGPSC issues notification for recruitment to lecturers posts at DIET; applications open from July 24

The commission will fill a total of 86 vacancies, including 23 senior lecturer, and 63 lecturer posts. The TGPSC application window will be open until July 29.
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has issued notification for recruitment of senior lecturers and lecturers posts at DIET (District Institute of Education and Training) colleges.Eligible candidates will be able to apply for various posts through the official website at tgpsc.gov.in from July 24.
The commission will fill a total of 86 vacancies, including 23 senior lecturer, and 63 lecturer posts. The TGPSC application window will be open until July 29.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should have a post graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks from a UGC-recognised university and an MEd degree with a minimum of 55% from an institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

TGPSC Recruitment 2026: Eligibility, pay scale
Interested applicants must be at least 18 years of age as on July 1 ,2026. The maximum age limit for the lecturer posts is 44 years.
The senior lecturer posts include Pre-Service Teacher Education, In-Service Programmes, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, Planning and Management, and Work Experience.
The lecturer vacancies are for subjects such as Education, English, Telugu, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Psychology, Philosophy, Planning and Statistics, Art Education, Educational Technology, and Physical Education.
As per the official notification, the pay scale for senior lecturers ranges between Rs 58,850 and Rs 1.37 lakh, while the lecturers will receive salary between Rs 54,220 and Rs 1.33640 lakh.
