TNEA 2018 Application Process ended on June 2; Random Number to be assigned soon

NEW DELHI, JUNE 4: The application process of TNEA ended on June 2, 2018. To register, aspirants had to to log in through official website and follow the steps required to fill the application form. After registration, candidates were required to pay the prescribed application fee either in online mode or by way of Demand Draft (DD). Following it, candidates were required to fill their personal and academic details. Candidates were advised to carefully check all the details filled and if satisfied, proceed to take the print out of the TNEA application form.

What after application filling?
After registration, candidates will be assigned a random number that will be used to break the tie in case all the other tie-breaking guidelines fail. Candidates need to login and note the random number assigned to them. The random number of TNEA is a unique 10 digit number assigned to each candidate to resolve any conflict. This can occur when two or more candidates get the same rank and the inter-se-merit is not resolved after using criteria like marks, date of birth etc.
Further, candidates will be required to get their documents verified at TNEA facilitation center (TFC) of their choice by visiting it with the necessary documents. Candidates need to carry a set of photo copies of their original certificates.

- Mark sheet of Class 10 and 10+2
- Transfer Certificate
- Permanent community certificate card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC and DNC, BC and BCM
- HSC Hall Ticket
- Nativity certificate in electronic form (if applicable)
- First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)
- Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee Certificate, if applicable
- In case of Special Reservation, relevant documents as specified
