Try NowNEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the TS EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure. The authorities started the TS EAMCET 2022 registration on April 6 and the last date to fill the application form is May 28. Therefore, candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2022 first before filling the application form.

There are certain conditions that need to be satisfied by candidates in order to appear for the TS EAMCET exam 2022. These conditions include nationality, age, qualifying marks, educational qualification, admission weightage, and local & non-local status.
TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2022
Candidates must go through the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2022.
Age Limit (as on December 31)
The candidate’s age must be 16 years only for BTech admission. However, for admission in BTech Dairy technology, Agriculture Engineering or Food Technology, the candidate must be 17 years of age.
Local & Non-Local Status
Candidates residing in any institute of Telangana for four consecutive years will be considered local residents. However, candidates not satisfying the above will be non-local residents.
Admission Weightage
TS EAMCET 2022 score will decide the final admission process. Moreover, 25 % weightage of intermediate marks shall not be taken into account.
Nationality
The candidate must be a national resident of India. Also, he/she must satisfy the local/non-local status of Telangana.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed class 12th or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Qualifying marks in TS EAMCET 2022
Candidates must obtain at least 25% of the maximum marks in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam to be considered in the rank list. However, there are no minimum marks for reserved category candidates.
Those candidates who will meet the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2022 will be eligible to apply for the TS EAMCET 2022 exam. It is mandatory for a candidate that he/she must have passed the class 12th exam in order to be eligible for TS EAMCET registration 2022.
