Join Careers360 PremiumNEW DELHI: The Department of School Education, Telangana will close the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024 registration today, November 20. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the TS TET 2024 registration form by visiting the official website, tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/.
The TS TET 2024 examination comprises two levels: paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for primary teachers who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, while paper 2 is tailored for secondary teachers intending to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates aspiring to teach across Classes 1 to 8 are required to appear for both papers.
TS TET 2024 registration fee
Candidates are required to pay a TS TET 2024 exam fee to complete the registration process. Candidates applying for a single paper are required to pay a fee of Rs 750, whereas applicants appearing for both shall pay a fee of Rs 1,000.
TS TET 2024 exam date
The TS TET 2024 exam will be conducted from January 1 to 20, 2025. The TS TET 2024 exam will be held in two shifts -session 1 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and session 2 from 2:00 pm to 4: 30 pm. As per the official schedule, the TS TET 2024 admit card will be issued on December 26.

TS TET 2024 exam pattern
TS TET 2024 exam contains 150 objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs) in each paper- paper 1 and paper 2. Each paper in TS TET 2024 carries a total of 150 marks. The duration of each TS TET 2024 exam paper is 150 minutes. In TS TET 2024, paper 1 covers five sections, including child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, mathematics, and environmental studies.
On the other hand, paper 2 consists of four sections, featuring child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, and a choice between mathematics and science or social studies, social sciences. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
